Attorney General Reveals Probe into President's Opponents and Jeffrey Epstein Ties

This past Friday, Pam Bondi designated Jay Clayton to lead an investigation into political adversaries of the President and their connections with Jeffrey Epstein. This move came hours after Trump instructed her to initiate the investigation.

In a statement, Bondi highlighted Clayton as “one of the most capable and trusted prosecutors in the country”. She remarked, “The department will handle this matter promptly and thoroughly to provide clarity for citizens.”

This action appears to contradict a July memo from federal authorities which stated that the Epstein files did not warrant further inquiries. As per the document, investigators “found no proof justifying probes into uncharged individuals”

The President Demands Scrutiny of Democrats in Epstein Case

This news comes as increasing pressure from Trump on lawmakers to oppose the full release of Epstein-related documents before an key congressional decision next week. Many Republicans are anticipated to support the disclosure.

On Friday, the President announced he would ask the DOJ to investigate Epstein’s ties with Democrats, specifically naming prominent individuals such as Clinton, Summers, and Hoffman. Interestingly, Trump also referred to the “Epstein situation” as a “scam”.
